On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to Singapore and the 62nd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) 2023. This is the first time that CDC is to be held in Singapore and South East Asia. We are delighted to have the opportunity to host CDC 2023 fully in-person and meet colleagues and friends from all over the world.
CDC 2023 is hosted by the IEEE Control Systems Society in cooperation with the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, the Technical Committee on Control Theory of the Chinese Automation Association, the European Control Association, the Korea Institute of Control, Robotics and Systems, and the Japanese Society for Instrument and Control Engineers. We are delighted to be offering a diverse and rich technical program featuring 232 sessions, including four tutorial sessions, four plenary lectures, the Hendrik W. Bode Lecture, four special lunch sessions, one benchmark competitions poster session, and 15 pre-conference workshops. We have compiled this outstanding technical program by selecting 1367 technical papers (including 338 papers concurrently published by the IEEE CSS Letters) out of 2343 submissions. In addition, we have 22 teams participating in the two benchmark challenges on autonomous driving control and cooperative aerial robots inspection. We owe this endeavor to the tireless and competent work of the Conference Editorial Board helmed by Amir Aghdam, a dedicated and unwavering leader, the International Program Committee and the technical reviewers. All editorial decisions have been audited by a distinguished panel of Editors-at-Large. Special thanks go to Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau, Singapore Airlines, and the sponsors. Finally, our greatest debt of gratitude goes to the Organizing Committee and our Professional Conference Organizer for the enormous amount of work they have performed with diligence, enthusiasm and professionalism.
